Hello world. The following was written 12/09/2017.
A brother asks, “If we are souls. Why are we doing this. Why is everybody so scared of death…..we will come back anyways they say……so why pain…. suffering…..etc etc?”
My response, “What is the purpose, of going to school? Consider this, and you will have an answer as to why we come here. We come here to learn. This manifestation of reality, would be a school of experiences in extremes. We come in with a blank slate and have to relearn, who we are. We are here to learn the discernment of Truth, of what resonates within us as our Truth.
As for why you are afraid of death, it is what you have chosen to believe in. The belief is taught and it is based in fear, of the unknown. It is a choice made by the Individual, to believe. I myself, am not afraid of death. I have died and been resuscitated, many times in my life. From birth, into my 40’s. I learned long ago, death is not real. Everything I had been taught about it, was not true. My life did not, end there. Each time, I was given a choice to continue on here, or move on to another life. It was always my choice, and there was never an END. There was only a continuation, of experience.
As I stated in the above, ALL the pain and suffering you experience, comes from your own choices to believe. When you hold a belief as defining you, you are also holding onto a judgment, which was handed to you or taught to you. Consider the thoughts racing through your mind, in any given moment. How many are labels, and how many have judgments or opinions embedded into them? Those thoughts and your ability to “see” them for what they are, will be the key to the Kingdom within you. Once you unlock the understanding of those thoughts and beliefs, you will be handed an opportunity to choose again and choose differently this time.
Everything rests on you and your willingness to look within, at what YOU are doing. You seem focused on the world outside of you, the choices your brothers are making to be as they choose. Their choices, have nothing to do with you. Their choices, are theirs alone to make and you do not get a say in what it is they are choosing for themselves. They do not get a say or choice, in what you are choosing for you. This constant focus on those around you and their choices, is what keeps you locked in the cage you have built in your own mind.”
A brother asks, “I have a question to ask of you: I have a couple of male ACIM friends that are always posting something about women in general in a sexual nature and i think it’s wrong. Why do they do this? Why do they think it’s okay?”
My response, “First, I would ask you to look at what you have stated here. Take a few moments, to reread it and then come back to here.
In these moments, you are having a reaction to something another is doing. What it states, is YOU are holding a misconception. If I am upset or angry in any way, I am the one who is misconceiving. I am the one, who is in judgment in those moments and need to look within my own heart and mind at my choices to believe.
Your brothers do these things, because it is what they were taught to do. Taught, this is what guys are supposed to do, and it will get them male approval. Your brothers have not started to question, those things they were taught to believe, say and do. They blindly repeat a pattern taught to them, and never questioned it. This is why, they do these things and believe it is alright and does no harm.
Let go your beliefs, there are rights and wrongs. There are only experiences and how we are choosing to perceive them, for OURSELVES. We are not able to perceive our brothers choices to experience, in the moments they are experiencing them. It is not until after they have had the experience and share what was experienced with us, we may be given an opportunity to perceive things from their point of view and reference.
In these moments, your reactions to your brothers posts point to misconceptions held by you, from before you ever met those brothers. It was something you learned, so was taught to you. This means, you chose to accept the judgment as being true for you.
Consider looking at the thought and belief, following it back to its roots. Follow it back into your past, to the moment you first heard it and learned it. It will be in those moments, you will see the Truth and be able to let go those beliefs and accept what is True in it’s place.”
My brother responds, “So if this is what they were taught isn’t that what they are teaching?”
My response, “Something to consider, what they do is subconscious. They may not be aware, of what it is they are doing. Similar to how you are not aware, of the judgments you are holding in regards to what they are doing.”
Blessings on your journeys my brothers. Hugs and love. You are loved. I love you.
