Hello world. The following was written in the 1990’s.
The ticking clock sounds a rhyme
As you sit lost in time
The future’s coming losing sleep
Will you have enough to eat
You pay your bills one by one
No money left to have some fun
You think about the next payday
Knowing it is on it’s way
Knowing there’s more bills to pay
Hoping your boss will give you a raise
You pray to God you make it through
These trying times He’s given you
Knowing that with each new day
God will guide you on your way
With hope and faith and an open mind
His gift to us is that of Life.
