Flu, flu, go away.

Hello world. The following was written 1/20/2015. I was reminded this morning of an incident that happened when I was 9 years old. I had gotten the flu and it had gone down into my nerves in my legs and back causing me to be unable to walk or control my legs in any way, similar to polio. I was living in NY at the time on a military base called Governors Island. They transported me to the children’s hospital in the city for testing. They literally thought I had polio. After a lot of tests they figure out it was the flu virus. That virus was attacking my nerve synapses short circuiting them. It took me a month to get the ability to walk back. In 2015 I got the flu and found myself experiencing similar issues as I had back when I was a child. I found myself writing a poem about it and I shall share that poem with you.
